@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel Brilliant thanks - we do have some which we got from Temu but they are as thick as a pair of ladies tights !! They do protect a bit but look horrible ! - our fridge is 80L Thetford - we never hear it at night although last night we put it on ‘moon’ mode which seems to have used less battery. We have a cheap DC House200ah lifepo4 which we got from Amazon for under £400 and it’s brilliant. No fancy app but not really needed - I hear that Fogstar are bringing out a budget lifepo4 as well. We are like you really and don’t use the van every week so wasn’t prepared to spend a fortune on a battery that would just sit in the storeage yard!

Hi pete yes the dream trip that would be ! , well all of normandy we’d love to see but especially all around the coast and honfleur of course where all the tourists go to that huge aire there , it will happen but just can’t yet , the dream trip !

@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel hi guys there are great Aires de camping car everywhere over here, but Honfleur is a very pretty town and the Aires is huge but does get packed, to be honest Mike the whole coast of Normandie & Bretagne are where the tourist go inc the french from down south 😊

hi Stephen yeah good point turning them down instead of up , makes sense , i think the compressors are great given sufficient enough solar and batteries and also no exterior vents which i forgot to mention ! Noels swap box 😂😂 , always kick myself for never thinking or coming up with the one liners at the time 😡 , as i think i’ve mentioned before normandy is the one we want to do mostly , staying all over that area , the time will come but just can’t yet .. thanks again for watching and commenting Mike & Kirsty 👍

Hi stephen i used it neat , as it comes in the container , i’m quite sure the shop ones are the same especially the spray on ones , seen them on amazon for £10 , feels strange to the touch , a very slippery kind of substance but does the job well , used it for years now , when you spray it on tar spots and leave it for a while you’ll start to see the black tar dissolve and run down the panel good gear no mixing required with the ones i’ve always used 👍

Cheers mike, Tar marks can be a bugger at times, might give it a try sometime 👍

Hi rach & dave , the 640 SLB was on my shortlist when we were downsizing , i prefered a fixed bed and the large storage underneath , kirsty prefered a rear lounge van , i love all vans and could adapt to any but the Adria’s always stand out , modern and well made 👍 I also like the malibu 640 charming gt with the rear porthole windows

Yes the rear lounge is lovely, especially in the Uk when it’s raining and you can just chill out and it makes a change from just spinning the captains chairs round. Our van is fab but we’ve had a few problems with it, nothing serious though. Definitely well made and stylish. The Malibu’s are also very nice…but someone said the portholes look like black toilet lids - once you see it, you can’t un-see it. 😂🤣🤣

i’ve only ever had peugeot in an autosleeper symbol (99 model) but gearbox kept going in that , but ever since then i’ve had fiat with zero problems 🤞don’t really know about the MAN engine and transmissions but heard they are reliable

That MAN is identical to a VW crafter, the advantage of having the MAN is you can have it serviced in a MAN truck centre.

@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel the prices are crazy, it doesn’t seem like that long ago the C class started hitting £100k! I’m just pleased we have our van and are happy with it. We couldn’t afford these prices.
